Welcome to The Better Mom! Friends, I am elated that this day has finally come. We have an INCREDIBLE week of giveaways and posts planned so you won't want to miss a single day! As we begin our journey let me begin by introducing myself and the new site, thebettermom.com.

Like you, I am a mom. I have four beautiful children (9, 7, 4, and 2) and five more (by miscarriage) waiting for me in heaven. My husband is a pastor, my best friend, and the biggest cheerleader for thebettermom.com The Lord has blessed us with 13 years of marriage and ministry so far! Our hope and desire is to spend our lives trying our best to follow hard after God, and to inspire others to do the same. We know, as you do, that is often a lot easier said than done. This is true in marriage, ministry and in the pursuit of being a mom. This is why we need each other.

This mission that God has called us to as moms was never meant to be lived out alone. Years ago I envisioned a place where moms could share their strengths, recognize their weaknesses and grow together. I wanted one site, addressing many different topics and issues that moms face regardless of their circumstances. It would be a place for moms to be, new moms, struggling moms, and great moms. A place for each mom, in their own, helping all of us striving to be better moms!

Today that idea and dream is birthed. Here at thebettermom.com we believe God has placed a high-calling on our lives as we raise children who will impact the world. As moms we wear many hats! But ultimately, all we do is meant for the glory of God. We are praying that God will use thebettermom.com to inspire moms all over the world to not just be moms, but to be better moms! It is my prayer that we would learn together, seek God's wisdom together (James 1:5), and walk in greater obedience to God's Word together. May we "spur one another on towards love and good deeds." (Hebrew 10:24)

So take some time to look around, meet our lovely contributors, and introduce yourself. We are so glad you are here and we can't wait to get to know you!!
