I often see photos on Facebook that have quotes on them. A couple of weeks ago someone posted one that read,

"Show God your faith and He'll show you His faithfulness."

Did you know this is actually a false statement? God's faithfulness is not dependent upon our faith. He is faithful no matter what; whether we "show" Him our faith or not. That's what faithfulness is. It's remaining true to His Word, and God is always, without fail, true to His Word.

Sometimes it's more visible to us than others. Sometimes we're not looking hard enough to see it.

When God says that He has accepted you, you can be sure He's faithful to His word. (Romans 15:7)

You are accepted.

When God says you are wonderfully made, He meant it! (Psalm 139)

You are wonderfully made!

And moms, when you stumble, when you fail, He's there to pick you up every single time. (Psalm 94:18; Isaiah 41:10)

I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10b

I don't know about you, but for myself, I've noticed it's easier to believe the bad stuff about myself. It's easier to believe that I'm not good enough then it is to believe that Christ has completed me.

We need to change these mindsets! They are wrong and we are living as if they are truth. Whatever you meditate on, you become. If you meditate on the Word, it takes over.
