Giving Our Girls the Freedom of Play with Monkeybar Buddies!

Summertime is in full swing and along with the warm weather comes sundresses and skirts. The breezy, humid days always give me pause as I walk out the door with my girls. Dresses and wind do not mix well. :) Add a playground with friends and we have quite the dilemma. My youngest, Sophia especially loves a lush green yard where she can do cartwheel after cartwheel after cartwheel!

Needless to say I am always asking this question on the days they decide to wear a dress or a skirt: “Do you have any shorts on underneath that?”

Not only do I want my girls to be modest, but I want them to be comfortable and feel the freedom to play!

This proves to be challenging as most of the time we have 1-2 pairs of cotton shorts stuffed in the back of the closet somewhere, usually stretched out and dirty from the last time they were worn. It has never crossed my mind that there is another option. Shorts that are built specifically for that layer of protection my girls need?!!
