Making Your Life a Bit Easier as a Mom to Little Ones with Mixie Baby

Going somewhere (anywhere!) when my babies were little was quite the event to prepare for! As a mom, you know the challenge to not only get yourself ready to go but also your kids! And all the moms are saying, “Amen!” Add on top of that all of the things you need to remember to bring that they “might” need –diapers, wipes, diaper rash cream, formula, clean water, pacifiers, blankie, etc. etc. It is no wonder my shoulders hurt for years from toting all the things everywhere!

My diaper bag was typically overflowing with last-minute stuff I tossed in. And inevitably I’d be in the middle of Bible study at a friend’s house only to realize that I’d forgotten a bottle, the diapers, or something else.  I always appreciated the unique gadgets and inventions to make our outings a little easier. But as the years have gone by, I’m continually amazed at how many incredible things have been created to make our lives a bit easier as moms. Especially moms of little ones. 

One product I want to share with you today is a game-changer for those moms who constantly find themselves measuring out formula into a baggie or tossing the entire can along with a bottle and a jug of filtered water into the diaper bag. The Mixie Baby Formula Bottle holds it all in one bottle! The formula is held in a small compartment at the bottom, the water is held in the upper compartment, and then with one press of a button underneath, it releases the formula into the bottle and just shake it up! Everyone knows you can’t just mix formula with water and let it sit around. But what if you could have everything ready to go, just not mixed? Hmmm. The idea was sound. But how would it work?

​Wheels turned. The brainstorming began in earnest. Design engineers were consulted, experiments were conducted, proto-types tested. Before long, a beautiful little bottle was born. A genius, and Mixie was her name.

​Picture this. Formula powder is put into a specially designed, air-tight compartment. Next, the bottle is filled with water. When it’s time, a button on the bottom of the bottle is pushed and voila–formula powder is released.

​Like magic. Okay, the baby’s crying. Easy. Pop and shake and watch the little agitator do its work. You can’t help but notice how nicely the formula mixes with water–not a clump in sight.

Hooray. On planes, in restaurants, –wherever babies go. Having Mixie at the ready is a godsend. Not just for the baby mind you, but for everyone.
