Hi, friend!

Hi friend! I am so glad you have stopped by the site. We have such a wonderful community of moms here and we would LOVE for you to join us as we share life and learn together!

Even In the Fear, Trust God

Even In the Fear, Trust God

I sit across from my friend, aching for the hurt she’s experiencing, wondering with her just how the story will end.

There’s been miscommunication, pain and even temporary separation in this marriage so right before God, but gone altogether wrong.

And I know she fears the worst...

I read emails from praying mothers of prodigal children, women whose pain I understand and whose hearts I know God carries.

If my private world ever lacks stories of loss and grief, sorrow or fear, I need only glance the news.  On screens, in print, our world cries out in fear.  Some for their very lives, and some searching, hoping, desperately needing a positive interruption to their storyline.

As Christians, we are not immune to fear’s persistent attempts to grip our hearts.

Let me say this again --- FEAR will attempt to control you.

It may just be a well-worn trick of God’s enemy to convince us that as believers, as strong women of the faith, as Mamas and wives...well, we should never, ever fear anything.  At all.

Not true, sister.  Not true.

God instructs us to cast anxieties on him, because He knows they will come.  Jesus spoke such a strong word of encouragement to his followers, and may you allow these words to soak deep into you today:

John 16:33 from The Amplified Bible

“I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]”

Ahh, did you hear the promise!?

Jesus has deprived fear, trouble, anxiety, worry of its power to harm us -- AND he has already conquered it for us!

Yes, learning to walk in this victory can be challenging, and often is.  We may need help, various kinds of assistance, and it may take time.

But, we can overcome.

We can trust God even in our fears, even as we battle worries which threaten our peace.

Our sole choice is not defeat, and even when we have no clue how our story will end or where the journey may take us...

...we have a God who can be trusted.

Blessings,

Daniele
