10 Life-Giving Scriptures for Your Family
I will never forget the day that my husband and I knew that we were going to be married. He looked at me with wide eyes and said, "Carlie, God has clearly shown me in His Word that you are going to be my wife." And I knew it was true. God had begun showing me bits and pieces of who my husband-to-be was through my quiet time in the Word and prayer. It was an exciting time and God began to work in each of our hearts about what it means to fulfill our vows to one another.
It would be just 7 months later that we would be engaged and 8 months after our engagement that we'd be married. And the beautiful revelation God gave us in those 15-months prior to our wedding date of June 10, 2000, was all about learning to speak life-giving words over our family. We both knew that one day we'd have children so this habit has been passed down to our children from the moment we knew they were conceived.
Today I want to share with you 10 life-giving scriptures that you can use to pray, memorize, and bring life to any situation you may be facing. Remember that God's word is living and active (Hebrews 4:12) - so you will always gain life when speaking, reading, and praying His Word.
