Grab Green (A Review of Non-Toxic Cleaning Supplies)

Typically, on “cleaning” day I trudge through my chore list like I’m wading through wet cement.  But today I couldn’t wait to tackle my cleaning!  It was finally time for me to try out some new cleaning products that aren’t filled with nasty chemicals.  My family and I have been on a journey of healthier living and this is one area I haven’t completely overcome yet.  Because, let’s face it, those harsh chemicals DO clean well.  But I finally started asking myself, “At what cost?”  And the answer just wasn’t worth it.  I will admit, I was a little leery when I first opened the box of my new Grab Green cleaning supplies.  But what I found pleasantly surprised me.

I began in the kitchen with the All-Purpose Cleaner.  To really put this product to the test, I began with spraying down the cabinets.  It seems that I can never find a product that doesn’t seem to leave a build up behind after the cabinets are wiped down.  But I feel like I have new cabinets after one quick wipe down!  So I continued with the All-Purpose Cleaner on the bathroom sinks and faucets.  The shine that the cleaner restored on the dirty faucets was enough to convince me that I didn’t need to resort to nasty chemicals any more. 

But this was just one cleaner, certainly the rest of the products in my box couldn’t hold a candle to the pleasant smells my current supplies give off, even if it does have a few toxins in it.  After all, aren’t we all super attached to our current laundry detergent and other fragrances that we add to get that “oh so fresh” smell?  But after I tried the 3 in 1 Laundry Detergent Pods, I was in love.  They made our clothes smell amazing!  It wasn’t an overwhelming fragrance, but the lavender and vanilla scent smelled oh so good.  And the best part was not having to add anything extra to the load to boost the scent like I so often did before.  Finishing up the load with the Grab Green Dryer Sheets was just an added bonus to an already successful laundry day.  My family has a hard time with regular dryer sheets because it aggravates our already sensitive skin.  So having a non-toxic, fragrance free, hypoallergenic option makes this mom super happy. 

As I finished my cleaning day emptying the dishwasher, I realized that I wasn’t let down by even one of the Grab Green products I had used that day.  The Dishwasher Pods left every dish sparkling and there was no residue left behind.  Finding products that have naturally-derived ingredients is never an easy thing to do.  But what a relief to know that I can cross one more thing off my list to accomplish to keep my family on our journey to better health and wellness.  If you’d like to learn more about Grab Green and the products they offer, click here!
