I am a planner connoisseur. Now it isn’t official or anything, but I have basically tried every planner out there. And it isn’t a good thing. I can’t seem to stick with one planner. Just when I think I’ve found the perfect planner I see another one I really like. Ohhhh all the pretty planners. Ha!
There is one thing though that I have found in common with pretty much every good planner I have tried: The price range is about $50-$100. I have found some very simple ones from Target for much cheaper, but the good, solid planners that are also pleasing to the eye are just more expensive. All that to say…. For the reasons I listed above, I was intrigued when I heard about the 2019 homemaker’s friend Daily Planner by Sue Hooley.
Sue reached out to me a while ago to ask if I would review her planner and almost immediately my curiosity was peaked because of the cost (well, and I love planners). You guys…this planner is SO affordable! I wanted to see this planner in person! Honestly, I thought it must be lacking in some way to be so affordable, but as you can see in the pictures, it really is a great planner.
I am a big fan of month and week planners. I HAVE to have both the month and the week included. Not only does this include week and month, it has tabs to help you get there! Most planners do not have tabs and tabs are my favorite! (see tabs below) Also, as you can see by a few of the pictures, there are really nice photos throughout, as well as quotes and scripture verses to encourage you.
There are also plenty of spaces to jot down notes to yourself and specific sections dedicated to goals, projects and tasks. As you can see in the photo below there are also several pages of perforated shopping lists to write down your grocery list for the week. I am always looking for a scrap of paper to scribble down our list on, so this is a plus for me!
I have to say this daily planner surprised me. It is made well with a beautiful style and I just can’t get over the price. If you are looking for a solid inexpensive planner for 2019, this is definitely a great choice.
